For your family’s health, straight from our family’s heart: A story of a family’s health and economic development pathway.

The foundation of A.LE & Tom is rooted in family, ingenuity, and a deep appreciation for the benefits of wildflower honey on health and well-being. Over the years, our family has cherished honey and its remarkable healing and rejuvenating properties. In response to the global demand for healthier alternatives and a return to natural remedies, we established our company during the height of the covid-19 pandemic. Inspired by our parents, who have been using wildflower honey as a sugar substitute for nearly two decades in Tanzania, this has inspired us to embark on a journey to share the gift of good health and wellness with the world.

Our home, Tanzania, is a land of awe-inspiring landscapes, boundless beauty, abundant natural resources, and warm-hearted people. It is a place of immense significance, making it one of the world´s most precious locations. The exceptional taste of our delightful honey is derived from the nectar of wildflowers that grow in the tropical and savannah plains, boasting unparalleled biodiversity. The diverse flora in our environment gives rise to captivating flavours that are uniquely Tanzanian.

At A.LE & Tom, we strive to build a sustainable business that fosters positive, genuine, and valuable connections with all those involved. We prioritise quality over quantity when selecting our retail partnerships, ensuring that our wildflower honey is available in carefully chosen locations. Our dream is to see our Tanzanian wildflower honey prominently displayed on the top rows of food shelves around the globe. Guided by our founding values of heritage, quality, and sustainability, we take immense pride in remaining a 100%

Tanzanian owned and operated family business.

As we continue our journey, we are committed to preserving the essence of who we are and what we stand for. Our mission is to share the richness of Tanzanian wildflower honey while making a positive impact on the well-being of individuals and the environment.
